Ordering Information
You do not need a Paypal account in order to purchase from the Midori Jewelry website. I am utilizing Paypal to process your online orders to make your shopping experience with Midori Jewelry safe and easy. Paypal will handle the encryption of your financial information to protect your identity, safeguard against hacking, and prevent fraudulent activity. When you purchase online from a verified Paypal vendor, your confidential information is never shared with the retailer. Paypal also offers protection for goods purchased from one of their vendors. That means that Paypal will reimburse the buyer the full value of the goods (up to $200 USD) should you not receive them or receive goods that have been grossly misrepresented by a retailer. If you feel uncomfortable placing your Midori Jewelry order online, I will gladly accept a phone, written, or email order. Please call me (808) 221-1842 Mon-Fri from 10am-6pm HST. If I do not answer, please leave a detailed message. If you want to snail mail your order, please call or email me for my address. No matter what ordering method you choose, I will always need the following information:
-Your first and last name
-Telephone # with area code
-Item # and/or Item Name
-Email address for order confirmation
-Method of payment
Once I confirm the availability of your order, I will call you for a credit card #. Your receipt will be sent with your order. If you want to snail mail a check or money order, I will send you my address with your email confirmation. Please remember that if you are new customer, your check will be held 7-10 business days for clearance. If you are a repeat customer, your order will be sent upon receipt of payment.
“Handcrafted” Characteristics
All of my beaded creations are handcrafted so slight variations should be appreciated as one of the many special characteristics of a Midori Jewelry piece. All gemstones are natural and therefore minimal color and shape differences , as well as slight inclusions should be expected. These “imperfections” are what give each stone or bead its authenticity and charm. Many of my pieces are one-of-a-kind or of limited quantity because I want my customers to enjoy special pieces that aren't mass-produced.
I search to my heart's content to discover unique clasps, pendants, charms, spacers, and earring findings that will make those special touches on all Midori Jewelry. Whether whimsical or Asian-inspired, avant-garde or vintage, I know you will appreciate the "little things" that contribute to making each piece exceptional. I truly believe in the notion that "it's all in the details..."
I try my best to accurately describe and display colors, textures, sizes, and other specifications. However because of variations of monitor settings and browser differences, I cannot guarantee that the specifications you see are the exact same of the item. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me before ordering. Your satisfaction is of the utmost importance to me.
All Midori Jewelry pieces with extender chains are finished with a round peridot bead. "Midori" means "green" in Japanese. This bead has become an enduring trademark of Midori Jewelry.
Shipping and Handling
All jewelry items are shipped at a flat rate of $4.95 and sent from Honolulu, Hawaii via USPS First Class Mail with Delivery Confirmation. Upon request, shipments can be mailed via Priority Mail, Federal Express, UPS or Two-day Express Mail. Additional fees will apply. Next-day delivery service is not available from Hawaii. $200+ orders will ship via USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation for FREE!!!
All available jewelry pieces will be shipped within 1-4 business days of payment confirmation, if order is received before 5pm Hawaii Standard Time Monday through Friday. If an item is unavailable due to a previous sale, I will notify you within 2 business days by email or phone. Alternatives for ordering a similar item can be arranged if you wish. International orders are now being accepted. Please email me for International shipping rates.
Sales Tax is applicable only to State of Hawaii residents. Mahalo…
Gift Recipients, Wrapping Services & Gift Certificates
If your shipment is being sent as a gift to someone, please include the recipient’s address in the memo box provided when you checkout. I will be sure to cross out the price on the jewelry tag. All jewelry pieces come with price tags or earrings cards that give a detailed description of the item. Your recipient will know all the components of her special handcrafted gift. Complimentary gift-wrapping is included for all items.
Gift Certificates are NOW available. If you would like to give the perfect Midori Jewelry gift to someone special, but don't know what she would like, a Midori Jewelry GC makes the perfect present. Available in any denomination, these cool gift certificates can be sent by email, e-Card, or printed and snail mailed with a gift card.
Payment Methods
The following is a list of payment methods accepted at Midori Jewelry:

- Visa or MasterCard via phone (your receipt will be mailed with your order)
- Money orders or cashier’s checks in US funds (snail mail orders)
- Preprinted checks drawn on US banks (please allow 7- 10 business days for clearance for NEW customers)
Return, Exchange & Repair Policy
I want you or your gift recipient to be delighted with any Midori Jewelry purchase. If for any reason, you are not satisfied, please email me for a Return Authorization number to exchange your item(s). S&H fees are non-refundable. Refunds will be considered on an individual basis. Merchandise credits, exchanges, or refunds will not be honored without a Return Authorization number.
If you received a Midori Jewelry item as a gift, and would like to do an exchange, please email me for complimentary shipping for your exchange.
I use sterling silver or gold-filled French bullion coil wire to protect strung necklaces from fraying and/or breaking. The French bullion adds extra endurance at the main stress points of a strung necklace or bracelet to prevent damage.
If any piece of Midori Jewelry breaks within 90 days of purchase, I will gladly repair the item for FREE. If it has been longer than 90 days, I will repair it for a nominal fee. Return shipping is also complimentary and will be via USPS First Class Mail with Delivery Confirmation.

Custom Orders
If you need the perfect piece of jewelry to make that finishing touch on an outfit, or you would like coordinating sparklies for your bridal party, I welcome custom orders of any kind. If you see an item that is "sold" and would like a similar item created for you, please email me to check on the availability of materials. I will always try to accommodate you to the best of my ability. Please allow 7-10 days for custom orders to be mailed to you via USPS First Class Mail. S&H fees for custom orders are usually $3, unless the jewelry is needed sooner. Shipping arrangements and quotes will be given at the time of the order.
